NEWSPAPER & E-WASTE RE-CYLCLING
The
state of Karnataka has recently implemented the Central
government notification on the e-waste Act (it is now illegal to
dump an old TV, mobile phone or laptop into the garbage bin or sell
any of these to the local scrap dealer. We do monthly e-waste and
newspaper collection drives in housing complexes in the city of
Bangalore and route the e-waste to an authorized recycler. The
apartment complexes that have regularly contributed in this program
are Vaswani Ashtonwoods, L&T South City.
Inviting apartment
complexes in and around the city to give the gift of quality
education by donating e-waste and newspapers to the
foundation.
